Fees Explained

Every payment made or received through InfluBid — a campaign payout, an agency deal payment, or a Marketplace escrow deposit — shows a breakdown before you confirm it. This page explains what each line means.

Platform Fee

InfluBid charges a Platform Fee, by default 2.5%, on money that moves through the platform. Your workspace or account may have a different negotiated rate; the exact rate that applies to you is always shown on the payment screen before you confirm. A small minimum fee may apply on very small transactions.

Payment Gateway Fee

When a payment is made online — by card, UPI, or net banking, through Razorpay — the payment gateway charges its own processing fee, by default 2.5% of the amount. This is not kept by InfluBid; it is passed straight through to the gateway. It only appears on online, gateway-processed payments — a payment recorded manually or made outside the platform's checkout does not carry this fee.

GST on Platform Fee

Indian law requires GST (currently 18%) on the Platform Fee itself — not on the full payment amount. For example, a 2.5% Platform Fee of ₹500 carries ₹90 of GST (18% of ₹500), not 18% of the whole payment.

Who pays what: sending vs. receiving

The fees apply differently depending on which side of a payment you're on:

• Sending money — depositing escrow for a Marketplace bid, releasing an influencer payout, or paying an agency deal online — the Platform Fee, Payment Gateway Fee, and GST on the Platform Fee are added on top of the amount. The checkout shows this as “Total Payable.”
• Receiving money — a creator being paid for a deliverable, or an agency receiving a deal payment — the Platform Fee and GST on that fee are deducted from the amount before payout. The Payment Gateway Fee is never deducted from what a receiver gets; it's only charged to whoever initiates an online payment. The checkout shows the result as “You Will Receive.”
